Leah Dumaine RN

Hello my name is Leah Dumaine.  I am a Registered Nurse have a Masters degree with a health focus and have been working at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital since 1994.  I have a passion for learning and on going education. I have worked in a wide range of nursing fields inclusive of: surgical nursing, recovery room, endoscopy, plastic surgery, project work, guideline writing and currently as a Clinical Navigator.

 

I am passionate and enthusiastic for anti-aging and skin rejuvenation. This has led me to become an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in 2007.  I attend numerous conferences, education sessions and article reviews several times a year.  This ensures that my knowledge is always current in this exciting field when new technologies, procedures and specialized products are continually advancing.

I am a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and Canadian Society of Aesthetics Specialty Nurses, as well as an advanced injector of Allergan products Botox and Juvederm. My goal is to educate and empower patients to feel their optimal self.
